We're sure you've seen these Tucson musicians around town in some context. Mackender has played with The Mollys and has a Tex-Mex-Zydeco-Gypsy band called The Carnivaleros. Carla Brownlee plays in that band as well but may be best known for her work with Lisa Otey and The Bad News Blues Band. And you've most likely seen Mike Purdy playing blues, jazz and bluegrass with various bands around town.

Their love of 60's soul, funk and R&B, along with sultry standards from an even earlier era brought them together to form Combo Combo. They work as a trio but can expand to a larger group for dance events as well.
